Award-winning actors Carlo Aquino and Joem Bascon will give life to the story of two lovers whose relationship was tested by AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome). This upcoming heavy drama episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya will air on Saturday, December 1, 2012.

He is one of the winners in the talent search Starstruck in 2006. Aljur has starred in various TV shows of the Kapuso network, namely, Zaido, Luna Mystika, In My Life, The Last Prince, and Machete, among others. He is currently seen in the Filipino remake of the Korean hit TV series, The Coffee Prince.
