JM de Guzman has appeared in several indie films such as Last Supper No. 3 in 2009, Rekrut in 2010, Ang Babae sa Septic Tank in 2011, and Intoy Syokol ng Kalye Marino in 2012. Among the mainstream movies he made include Miss You Like Crazy, My Amnesia Girl, and most recently, Pridyider.
He has appeared in various TV series in ABS-CBN, particularly in Kristine, and Alyna, before becoming the male lead in the remake of Mula sa Puso. Currently, he stars in the afternoon TV series, Angelito: Batang Ama.
